We will be publishing submissions about the COVID-19 crisis from readers daily on New Philosopher in the hope that it can help us all make sense of what is happening, and as a historical record of how it made us feel. Here are your thoughts, from around the world.

I was inspired by the global COVID-19 pandemic to illustrate the images attached. In short, the images articulate the growing sense of fear being felt by the collective. They showcase how this pandemic is more a play on the mind and the overarching fear we're presented with, versus the actual virus itself. The sense of fear is so all encompassing it overtakes us completely. It demonstrates how, as a society, the bulk of us are living, feeling, and experiencing life simply through the mind. But is the mind's interpretation reality? That's the critical question at hand.
